Position Summary
Provides member service and maintains the checkout, entrance, and exit areas. Resolves member issues and concerns, promotes Sam’s Club products and services, and supports members with self‑service technology and payment processing according to company policies. Follows safety standards, conducts safety sweeps, and reports unsafe situations.
Responsibilities- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas; verify memberships and acknowledge members.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
- Process purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to policies.
- Conduct safety sweeps, report unsafe situations, and handle merchandise properly.
- Record and maintain paperwork, logs, and required documentation.
- Follow emergency response procedures and maintain a safe shopping environment.
- Train and mentor new Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and technology.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
- Adhere to company policies, ethics, and integrity standards, including the Open Door Policy.
- Retail experience with front‑end equipment such as a cash register.
- Experience working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00, inclusive of any applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
