We are seeking a Bakery/Packager associate to prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through following recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. The role involves juggling several tasks while helping members with bakery orders.

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with members of the team and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery department merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes/make‑up instructions, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise according to company policies and procedures; ensures compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; demonstrates understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Ensures operational excellence, maintains work area according to company policies and procedures, ensures quality and date‑control standards for bakery items, secures fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminates waste, assists members with purchasing decisions, and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the bakery area and modeling high‑quality service and products; executes basic tasks at the highest level of quality; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
