Position Summary

As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborate with cross-functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively and develop interpersonal skills for providing customer service; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
Be an Expert:
Understand the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintain product safety and follow company sanitation guidelines; and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality.
Be a Techie:
Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
Be an Owner:
Drive the performance of the area; use digital tools; employ perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; and assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
Be a Talent Ambassador:
Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience; model high quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress, and determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
Minimum Qualifications- Must be 18 years of age or older

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. Additional compensation includes performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
