Security Officer Responsibilities

• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Monitor access control and check points.
• Monitor entrance of property through surveillance.
• Identify visitors and ask for appropriate documents.
• Identifying potential security risks and notifying all appropriate supervisors.
• Maintain a written log of all daily activities per shift.

• Be at least 18 years old or minimum age required by the State.
• Must have Valid permanent California Guard Card.
• Should possess great English communicating abilities, both written and oral.
• Should be responsible, flexible and dependable.
• Have access to reliable transportation.
• Positive and confident professional image.
• Be able to successfully complete all training required for the position.
• Demonstrate an ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Must be drug free.
