Advanced Officer (Site Lead)

Reports to: Site Supervisor and Senior Leadership

Availability Requirement: Open to all shifts and days of the week. Rotating schedule based upon business need. Ability to pick up open shifts with minimal notice.

Posting Location: Must be able to travel between multiple locations in Palmdale. Out-of-state travel may be required for occasional training.

Terms: 90-day probationary period, then at-will.

Pay Range: $18.50+ USD per hour. Merit based pay increases with continued tenure and satisfactory performance.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Valid California Guard Card
• Driver's License with clean driving record (this role requires 50% driving)
• 3-5 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience
• Excluding event security
• 2 or more years of direct supervisory experience
• • Covering breaks, lunches, and callouts is not supervisory experience
• High School Diploma/GED required. Some college in Criminal Justice or related field highly preferred
• Impeccable attendance record, appearance, and technical acumen
• Reliable, insured personal transportation
• Personal cell phone
• Physically able to walk, stand, and drive for extended periods of time
• Ability to embrace and extol the culture, values, and protocols established by Signal of High Desert leadership and that of Signal Security

• General knowledge of and practical experience with progressive discipline
• Training, coaching, and mentoring experience with direct reports
• Ability to be regularly coached, held accountable to established business standards, then convey those standards to team members

Position Summary:

A Signal Advanced Dedicated Officer will conduct static security services for courtyards, offices, pools, and other high value areas to ensure all required access points are properly secured and to ensure protection of property and residents with a high degree of attentiveness to details and safety. In this position, the Advanced Dedicated Officer may need to train and mentor new and existing team members.
