As an Armed Security Officer (Clearance Required) in Palmdale, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as aero/defense. In this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to discourage security incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations with integrity, reliability, and teamwork while serving in a fast‑paced environment that values agility, innovation, and a people‑first culture.

Full Time

$28.68 / Hour

Day (Wednesday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Thursday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Saturday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a defense‑related location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations, controlling access points and verifying credentials for employees, contractors, and authorized visitors.
• Support reporting and compliance activities by completing logs, incident reports, and shift communications related to security operations.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Have 5 or more years of security‑related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
