As a Software tools engineer, you will contribute to the customization, maintenance, and administration of the commercial tools spanning Dev Sec Ops CI/CD pipelines, team management, and collaboration. You will be working with teams to develop custom behaviors and workflows to meet program needs while meeting requirements for traceability and security. These tools will be used through the execution of requirements generation, software design, implementation, integration, and flight test.
This role also will be working with IT to minimize downtime and manage those impacts as well as developing and maintaining custom, proprietary tools used by maintenance and operations.
The position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to be considered.

Basic Qualifications- Secret Clearance Experience
- Experience with scripting languages Bash, Power Shell, Python
- Experience customizing and scripting in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo
- Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and secure system configuration.
- Top Secret Clearance
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with Linux admin tasks
- Experience working with programming languages such as Groovy, Java, C/C++,
- Experience with Script Runner for Jira
- Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, Gitlab, Nexus
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work RemotelyOnsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay RateFor California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC, the annual base salary range is $76,500 - $134,895. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
