CDL-A Driver - $30​/Hour + $1,000 Bonus

Minimum six months of recent CDL-A experience

We are immediately hiring multiple CDL-A Combo Lane Drivers for dedicated overnight routes based out of Palmdale, California.

This position offers consistent hourly pay, an alternating three-day/four-day schedule, automatic trucks, additional training, and up to $1,000 in retention bonuses.

Pay and Bonuses $30.00 per hour Estimated annual pay of $62,400+ based on 40 paid hours per week $500 bonus after successfully completing 30 days as a combo driver

Additional $500 bonus after successfully completing six months

Referral bonuses available

Consistent hourly pay with no mileage-based fluctuations

Actual annual earnings will depend on scheduled and paid hours

Schedule

Overnight split-sleeper berth schedule

Drivers alternate between three-day and four-day rotations

Drivers stay in the truck during their three-day or four-day rotation

Two drivers are paired together and share the same truck

This is not traditional slip seating

Route and dispatch times may vary depending on operational needs

Typical Daily Schedule First load:
Approximately 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.Two-hour off-duty/split-sleeper break

Second load:
Approximately 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.Approximately 12 working hours within a 14-hour schedule

Equipment and Freight Automatic trucks
48-foot refrigerated trailers

Palletized, light-touch freight

Drivers use a manual pallet jack to complete deliveries

Deliveries are made to established retail locations

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer

Complete scheduled combo-lane deliveries

Unload palletized freight using a manual pallet jack Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

Maintain accurate electronic driver logs Follow DOT and hours-of-service regulations

Communicate consistently with dispatch

Complete deliveries safely and on time

Requirements

Valid Class A CDLMinimum six months of recent CDL-A tractor-trailer experience

Acceptable driving record

Comfortable driving overnight

Comfortable following a split-sleeper berth schedule

Able to stay in the truck for three to four days at a time

Able to handle palletized freight using a manual pallet jack Dependable, safety-conscious, and professional

Able to maintain reliable communication with dispatch

Training

Qualifying drivers with six months of CDL-A experience will receive an additional one to two weeks of training to prepare them for the combo position, delivery process, and split-sleeper schedule.
