OverviewProvides administrative leadership for the Division of Agriculture, overseeing budgets, accounting, human resources, procurement, travel arrangements, and finances. Supervises two Administrative Assistants and provides technical direction across payroll, expenditures, grant payments, budget forecasting, and travel for two components.

Working EnvironmentPalmer office at 1801 S. Margaret Dr., Palmer, AK 99645; role involves varied situations that call for creative problem solving; supports Director and management staff delivering administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage budgets, accounting, finance, and payroll functions.
- Oversee grant payments, reimbursements, and travel arrangements.
- Handle procurement and human resources administrative duties.
- Supervise two Administrative Assistants.
- Provide technical direction for payroll, expenditures, grant payments, budget forecasting, and travel for two components.
- Ensure compliance with state policies, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
