Senior Cloud Engineer IS - Hybrid
OverviewCloud Service Engineers partner with developers, testers, and program managers early in the development process to design, operate, grow, and improve large‑scale, cloud‑based services for IS and non‑IS caregivers. Technical skills are on par with Development, Test, and Program Management counterparts.
Responsibilities- Senior level experience designing, engineering, operating, and administering Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS) solutions, including monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience configuring and managing Azure networking components, including VNETs, subnets, Private Endpoints, and Express Route.
- Hands‑on experience implementing, managing, and enforcing Azure Policy in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure (IaC) using Terraform and Azure CLI tools and scripting with automation frameworks to develop and maintain a comprehensive runbook library.
- Proficient in building and troubleshooting servers in VMware and Hyper‑V environments and managing enterprise server operating systems.
- Expertise in securing and supporting hybrid environments subject to compliance and regulatory requirements (PHI/PII).
- Ability to support an on‑call rotation and respond to production incidents outside normal business hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create technical presentations and documents; basic project management.
- Effective communication with cross‑team groups and leading technical conversations.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions and using systematic procedures and root cause analysis for problem solving.
- Experience in a Healthcare environment.
- Creating and managing server images with Packer.
- Experience with Desired State Configuration (DSC) using AWX.
- Knowledge of implementing security controls such as CIS and NIST.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and Service Now.
- Hybrid work model.
- Open to candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California or within 65 miles of Lubbock, Plainview or Levelland, TX, and within 65 miles of Hobbs, New Mexico.

Salary RangeSalary ranges by location vary from $46.76 to $122.09 per hour (or equivalent). Exact pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
