We work on a wide range of projects including commercial, industrial, residential, and public infrastructure. We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior BIM Technician to support our design team by producing high-quality structural models and drawings using Autodesk Revit.
Position OverviewAs a Senior BIM Technician, you will work closely with structural engineers to create accurate 3D models and construction documents. You will play a key role in ensuring coordination, precision, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for structural systems using Revit.
- Produce construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
- Coordinate BIM models with architectural and MEP models.
- Assist engineers with design changes and incorporate markups.
- Ensure models and drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Participate in project coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
- Support ongoing development and maintenance of BIM standards and templates.
Required:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- 5 years minimum experience working in a structural engineering or architecture firm.
- Familiarity with structural systems and construction practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Physical requirements:
Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience with BIM Collaborate Pro/BIM 360.
- Knowledge of Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other coordination tools.
- Experience with steel, concrete, and wood structures.
