The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to support the GIPHY Ads Business. The role includes creating media plans, managing end-to-end branded content campaigns, driving client satisfaction, and shepherding renewals.
Day to Day- Work closely with Client Leads to provide white-glove services to GIPHY strategic ad clients.
- Lead and execute campaigns for GIPHY Ads from start to finish, including media plan strategy and creation, deal implementation, day-to-day communications, creative project management, optimization, wrap, and billing.
- Manage relationships with sales leads, production, third-party vendors, ad operations, marketing, and finance to execute all aspects of campaigns.
- Identify upsell opportunities, working with Client Leads to establish a strategy and approach.
- Create the best possible experience for our clients to enable renewals and long-term positive relationships.
- Project manage custom branded content to ensure cross-functional team and brand alignment. Responsible for working in partnership with GIPHY Studios to collaborate, launch, and execute custom creative programs.
- Own communication of project milestones and alert stakeholders of expectations, risks, and delays.
- 6-8 years of experience in advertising sales and account management.
- Direct experience working with custom-branded content campaigns, digital advertising and media planning or production teams at a tech platform or media publisher.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Ability to project manage, manage multiple stakeholder teams, and communicate effectively with internal departments.
- Excellent influence management skills and the ability to work across a wide variety of external and internal partners.
- Strong analytical skills critical with ability to analyze customer approaches and processes and recommend impactful improvements.
- A solution-oriented team player who’s able to work in a dynamic, startup environment.
