Communications Manager Interact Ministries Discover how you can make a difference

Inter Act Ministries has an opening for an experienced Communications Manager at our new U.S. office in Palmer, Alaska. The position is 25-30 hrs./wk. (M-F) with potential for additional hours in the future. The Communications Manager develops and executes strategies to compellingly communicate God’s stories through Inter Act Ministries’ mission and values, performing both the high-level planning and the hands‑on creation of materials as needed.

The successful candidate should have excellent creative and organizational writing skills, strong editorial competencies, and a working knowledge of Adobe InDesign or equivalent for appealing and professional publications. A degree in communications, PR, journalism, or a related field would be an asset, as would supervisory experience. The position will require an individual who has strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously, and who is competent in a variety of communication platforms (including print, social media, video, and email), and solid project management skills.
