All work in Anchorage is on call/ fill-in only

We are a drug free workplace.

• $24.00/ hour for Unarmed Work

• Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents
• Conduct regular patrols
• Monitor activities
• Surveillance
• Access Control
• Safety escorts
• Using provided communication devices
• Represent SSNW’s brand
• Properly wear the issued uniform
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
• Complete Incident Reports
• Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services
• Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department’s procedures.
• Other duties as described in the Post Orders

• Current Alaska State Unarmed Security Guard License
• EMT Background a huge plus
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Clean background check and driving record
• Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting.
• Reliable transportation
• Honesty and Integrity
• Able to work non‑traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to react appropriately in high‑stress situations

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5‑10 years prior Public Safety and/or Military experience preferred
• Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment

• Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols
• Able to stand 8‑12 hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally)

• Anchorage, AK:
  Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
