Machinery Maintenance Mechanic – Anchorage, Alaska

Full‑time, day shift position with compensation of $47.67 per hour. Responsibilities include maintenance, repair, and reassembly of mechanical equipment, along with coordination with foremen, supervisors, and work control to ensure timely completion.

• Replace or repair broken or defective parts using inventory or machine shop services.
• Prepare written specifications for major repairs or for parts ordered from machine shops.
• Reassemble machines and make all necessary adjustments for operation.
• Communicate with foreman, supervisor, and work control to update repair status and estimated completion dates.
• Maintain proficiency in safety procedures and policies.
• Use computers or handheld devices for timekeeping, data entry, and work management.

• One year of facilities maintenance experience or equivalent trade training.
• Proficiency in most semi‑skilled and all unskilled maintenance tasks.
• Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including in adverse weather, high places, or rugged environments.
• Good manual dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, physical fitness, and balance.

• Lift or move up to 70 pounds.
• Reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
• Climb in and out of vehicles and up and down stairs.
• Work effectively under pressure for extended periods.

• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain and maintain coverage under company insurance.
• Real ‑compliant driver’s license or acceptable alternative such as a U.S. passport or military  access to a federal military installation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
• Background check and E‑Verify will be conducted.
