ASRC Energy Services, LLC is a private, for‑profit Alaska Native corporation that provides construction and maintenance services on the North Slope of Alaska.
JOB SUMMARYThe Equipment/Trucking Operator safely and efficiently operates a wide range of construction and maintenance equipment to support material handling and job‑site operations. Equipment includes tool cats, loaders, vacuum trailers, vacuum trucks, diesel tankers, winch trucks, bed trucks, flatbed trailers, super suckers, boom trucks, pickup trucks, tractors, and other light‑duty machinery. Operators may be assigned to either the Alpine or Kuparuk oil fields as operational needs require.
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Review job specifications to determine equipment requirements for assigned work.
- Operate construction and maintenance equipment to facilitate material handling to the job site.
- Prepare, update, and maintain logs, records, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment operation and identify malfunctions.
- Inspect, adjust, and perform minor equipment repairs.
- Prepare and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Clean, store, and maintain equipment as required.
- Comply with company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support a zero‑incident safety culture and assume personal accountability for safe work practices.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid U.S. issued, Alaska compliant Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification.
- Ability to work 84 hours per week on a 2×2 or 3×3 rotation.
- At least five (5) years of experience as an Equipment Operator.
- Five (5) or more years of experience specifically in the Petrochemical or Oil and Gas industry, on the North Slope, and/or in other Arctic environments.
Physical demands and work environment requirements include cold weather, remote location, and day‑to‑day physical exertion. A post‑offer, pre‑hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted. Candidates must comply with the driving records policy, pass a pre‑employment drug test (urinalysis and hair testing), and meet the physical requirements of working in a remote arctic location. Fit‑for‑Duty tests, background checks, and access badge requirements are also mandatory.
WORKINGON THE NORTH SLOPE
Lodging and food are provided. All camps offer warm meals, free Wi‑Fi, housekeeping, self‑serve laundry, a commissary, mail, gym, and laundry facilities. Accommodation and policies vary by site and will be reviewed during on‑site orientation.
