Blue River Maintenance, a full-service maintenance shop located at PAQ in Palmer, AK, is currently seeking an apprentice A&P mechanic to join our team full-time.

We service a variety of small aircraft; including Blue River Aviation’s fleet of Skyhawks, Super Cubs and a 206 used for flight school operations.

Duration:
Rolling, As Needed

Pay: $18/hour

As an apprentice, your primary responsibility will be assisting with the upkeep and maintenance of Blue River aircraft. When not performing maintenance; you will be refueling, cleaning, and moving aircraft; and other duties as assigned.

While previous experience is not required, we are looking for someone with specific interest in learning aviation maintenance. The ideal person will be:

• familiar with small engine maintenance (not necessarily aircraft);
• hard‑working;
• reliable;
• a team‑worker, capable of being productive independently;
• able to take and follow instruction, communicate and perform tasks as assigned.

We are a small team, so a positive attitude and a sense of humor are a must.

Due to federal regulations, you must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
