Job DescriptionThe role involves teaching Introductory Physics in a four-year regional vocational technical high school with an enrollment of approximately 650 students across sixteen technical programs.
Qualifications- Appropriate teaching license as established by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
- Undergraduate preparation in Science.
- License in Physics preferred.
- Master’s degree preferred but not essential.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
- Teach classes in accordance with state frameworks and approved curriculum.
- Plan and deliver well-structured lessons as outlined in the Massachusetts Teacher Evaluation Rubric.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prepare and deliver well-structured units of instruction.
- Provide assistance, support, and specialized instruction to students as needed.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
$57,836 - $100,154
