The Palmer School District is looking to add a general middle school science teacher (5-8, 8-12 certified) to our team who believes in a children first philosophy. We are committed to providing students with a positive learning environment focused on meeting the needs of all learners. The successful teammate will work as part of a Science Department team. We believe the ideal candidate will be an active learner in our school and strive to build a dynamic learning experiences for all our students.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Experience and practice working with students at the middle/high school level, including coaching teachers.
• Knowledge of inquiry-based science approach
• Ability to work as a positive role model for students and be an active participant in a team approach to learning.
• Works well with community members, parents, and students.
• Excellent written, verbal, and mathematical abilities.
