Position Summary:

Part time - 2:30-5:30PM

Kids’ Corner is looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable individuals to join our after-school team!

Counselors are responsible for creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where children can relax, play, complete homework, and participate in engaging activities after the school day.

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children throughout the afternoon
• Build positive relationships with children
• Plan and lead age-appropriate games, crafts, activities, and enrichment opportunities
• Participate in indoor and outdoor activities
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program environment
• Assist with snack and afternoon routines
• Follow all Kids’ Corner policies and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with other staff members and program administration
• Address children's behavioral and social needs in a positive and appropriate manner

• Experience working with children preferred
• Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual
• Ability to work positively with children of different ages and personalities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to remain patient and calm in a busy environment
• Must be able to actively supervise children and participate in activities
• Must meet all applicable program/background check requirements
