Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School is a four‑year regional vocational technical high school serving approximately 650 students. The district is expanding with projected enrollment growth over the coming years.

This School Nurse position will be primarily assigned to the district’s main campus in Palmer, Massachusetts, with occasional coverage or support at the Cold Spring campus in Belchertown. The School Nurse will collaborate with nurses from each campus to execute student care plans and manage all aspects of district student health services.

• Provisional License: Valid RN license in Massachusetts, bachelor’s or master’s in nursing, passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills test, completion of the department‑defined orientation program.
• Initial License: Valid RN license, bachelor’s or master’s in nursing, minimum two full years as an RN in child or community health or other relevant clinical setting, completion of the department‑defined orientation program, passing score on the Communication and Literacy Skills test.
• Professional License: Valid RN license, possession of an Initial license, three years of school nurse employment, and either (a) certification or licensure by a nationally recognized professional nursing association as a school nurse, community health nurse, or pediatric/family/school nurse practitioner; or (b) a master’s degree program that includes credits for the Initial license in community health, health education, nursing, or public health.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.

Salary range: $57,836 to $100,154, in accordance with the approved FY27 salary schedule.
