Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 1-2 years of experience and BLS/ACLS certifications.

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience required

• Med/Surg unit with telemetry patients in a 46-bed unit (40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds)
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week (7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• Patient ratios: 5-6 patients during days, 6-7 patients at night
• Float as needed to Surge Unit or Emergency Department to manage Med/Surg patients unable to reach the floor
• Weekend and holiday coverage based on unit needs, up to every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator support available
• Respiratory therapist and security on-site 24/7
• No IV team or RRT team available
• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg telemetry patients
• Collaborate with on-site support staff including admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator
