Job Description
As a Sr ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead and oversee production operations within the Integrated Supply Chain, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in managing daily production activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals and customer demands.
You will report directly to our Site Leader, and you'll work out of our Palmetto, FL location on a 100% onsite, day shift work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall productivity and quality of our production operations, contributing to the smooth flow of supply chain activities and supporting Honeywell's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Implement and monitor safety, quality, and compliance standards within the production area.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production issues and improve operational performance.
- Manage and develop production team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
You Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in production supervision within integrated supply chain or manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on process optimization and team leadership.
- Proficient knowledge of production management systems and quality control methodologies.
- Strong skills in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques to drive operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to production operations.
- Ability to utilize production planning and ERP software tools to monitor and manage production schedules effectively.
We Value:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in pressure vessel manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Background in welding and/or fitting is desirable.
- Proven experience in leading production teams and managing complex manufacturing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen.
- Good understanding of supply chain integration and cross-functional collaboration.
