** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and reporting security-related concerns.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.

+ Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while assisting with directions, information, and general support for visitors and staff.

+ Document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Meet hospital vaccination requirements.

+ Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be willing and able to restrain individuals when necessary.

+ Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
