Kindergarten Monitor Aide
This is a short-term substitute needed for a Kindergarten Monitor Aide, which falls under the Support Staff contract. This position is for the school year and will be from approximately August 24, 2026 through December 11, 2026.
Job Overview:
The classroom aide/monitor aide will assist classroom teachers with small groups of students and their instruction designed by the teacher, supervise students throughout the school day to include lunch and recess coverage, perform clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned by building principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required, college degree preferred. Demonstrated or prior experience working with children, and excellent organization and communication skills.
Additional Information:
Current minimum starting rate of $14.21 - $15.73 per hour; credit may be given for relevant experience. No district paid health benefits. A $500 healthcare stipend is provided in June at the completion of each contractual year.
