Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting core accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting and close activities. In a mid-sized company, this role typically partners with accounting and finance teams to manage reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger analysis, and reporting while using Oracle to support day-to-day accounting workflows. • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations. Based on general knowledge.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Based on general knowledge.
• Monitor general ledger activity and research account discrepancies. Based on general knowledge.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and audit support documentation. Based on general knowledge.
• Assist with fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and other accounting functions as needed. Based on general knowledge.
• Help maintain compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Based on general knowledge.
• Use Oracle to enter transactions, reconcile accounts, generate reports, and support financial operations. Based on general knowledge.
