We are looking for an Office Manager to oversee the daily workplace experience for a contract position based in California. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating an organized, welcoming, and well-supported office environment for employees and visitors alike. You will coordinate office operations, manage supplies and logistics, and contribute to team events and employee support activities that help the workplace run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Shape a comfortable office environment by coordinating workspace setup, organizing shared areas, and enhancing the overall employee and guest experience.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for office materials, refreshments, and kitchen essentials by planning recurring orders and monitoring usage trends.
• Welcome visitors, while coordinating their arrival experience and ensuring attentive front-of-office support.
• Assist with planning internal gatherings such as team celebrations, offsite events, and culture-building activities that strengthen employee engagement.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, package handling, and shipment coordination, including the movement of company hardware when needed.
• Support onboarding and offboarding logistics by arranging equipment orders, shipping materials to remote team members, and recovering company devices at the end of employment.
• Coordinate the selection and purchasing of branded merchandise to support employee engagement and company representation.
• Work with external vendors and service providers to keep office operations running efficiently and address day-to-day administrative needs.
