The RoleWe are hiring a Business Development Associate to help build and scale Poseidon’s outbound licensing to model operators like OpenAI, Anthropic and others and our data procurement from data supply partners like telecoms, ride share companies, media platforms, and others.
This is a high-energy, high-activity role focused on generating pipelines, starting conversations, and helping us connect with AI labs, startups, and enterprise teams that need better data.
You will work directly with founders and senior leadership to identify targets, run outbound campaigns, and turn conversations into qualified opportunities.
This is not a strategy-only role. It is a hands‑on, execution‑heavy position for someone who enjoys building from zero and is excited to grind through leads in a high‑growth AI company.
What You Will Do- Identify and research target AI companies, labs, and data buyers
- Run high-volume outbound across email, Linked In, events, and direct introductions
- Book meetings and qualify early-stage opportunities
- Support founders in progressing opportunities toward pilots and contracts
- Build and maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking
- Attend industry events and conferences to source new conversations
- Continuously test and iterate on messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy
- Help shape Poseidon’s repeatable outbound playbook from the ground up
- 1 to 4 years of experience in business development, sales development, partnerships, or early-stage GTM
- High output mentality and comfort with outbound volume
- Strong written communication skills and ability to quickly understand technical concepts
- Curiosity about AI infrastructure, data pipelines, or developer platforms
- Resilience and bias for action
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity without heavy structure
- Desire to grow into a more senior BD or partnerships role over time
- Experience in AI, ML, data infrastructure, or developer tooling
- Experience in Web3 or decentralized systems
- Existing network within AI startups or research communities
- Direct exposure to founders and executive decision-making
- Early‑stage equity in a venture‑backed AI infrastructure company
- Clear growth path into senior BD, partnerships, or GTM leadership
