About this RoleThe chosen candidate will play a critical role in our growing impact-focused organization as a Portfolio Management & Operations Professional. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will manage and optimize investment processes, integrate knowledge, and align investments with our holistic strategy. This dynamic opportunity allows for an entrepreneurial mindset as you work with internal and external stakeholders to drive market infrastructure development across various geographies and sectors.

- Manage internal workflow that empowers thoughtful and consistent investment processes.
- Work closely with the team to draft, update and manage key milestones and goals related to its investment activities.
- Manage knowledge management systems to organize data and insights.
- Support and hold the team accountable for engaging with relevant systems.
- Support meetings and proactively prioritize follow-up items that require attention.
- Execute investments via charitable and non-charitable entities.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and operational policies.
- Enhance governance practices while maintaining confidentiality.
- Track deployed investments including multiple closes and tranches.
- Summarize annual deployment analysis in a year-end learning memo.
- Develop and maintain data collection processes and reporting templates.
- Provide investees operational and capacity support to adopt best practices.
- Proven experience in investment portfolio management and/or operations.
- At least 5+ years of practical experience as an asset manager or intermediary.
- MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Strong alignment with the firm’s purpose and mission.
- Proficiency in using business tools like G-Workspace and project management tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Versatility and adaptability in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
