Electronics Validation Engineer

, in partnership with a leading automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled Senior ECU Validation Engineer
. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive validation strategies for electronic control units (ECUs) and ensuring designs meet module-level requirements under environmental stress conditions. The position plays a critical role in supporting reliable, production-ready vehicle electronics.

• Develop detailed design verification and validation (DV&P) test plans across all phases of ECU programs
• Execute validation plans aligned to program milestones to ensure production readiness
• Own test coverage analysis and generate validation reports
• Provide early design feedback to improve testability and validation efficiency
• Create and present Design for Testability (DFT) documentation
• Lead durability, electrical, and functional component-level validation testing
• Coordinate lab resources and manage validation schedules across cross-functional teams
• Investigate non-compliance test results and drive root cause analysis using data-driven methods

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in electronics characterization and validation testing
• Hands‑on experience with design verification and validation methodologies (DVP&R, PVP&R)
• Proficiency using lab instrumentation including oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and digital multimeters
• Experience operating thermal chambers and vibration tables
• Experience performing data analysis and generating reports using Python
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries
• Experience working in Databricks or similar data platforms
• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) systems
