Overview
DPR is currently looking for a Project Scheduler who can make an impact on our Planning Scheduling & Production Planning (PSPP) Team in the San Francisco Bay Area. Planning & Scheduling will be commercial projects within our core markets:
Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education and Corporate Office.
- Creating new schedules
- Updating schedules
- Troubleshooting
- Resource loading and/or crew logic, cost loading, variance reports, etc
- Expert in CPM scheduling theory, level of detail, and execution
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with DPR project team, subcontractors, designers, and stakeholders to gather input for sequencing and durations related to project milestones
- Develop contract (baseline) schedule and maintain monthly contract schedule updates in close coordination with superintendents and project team
- Lead planning and scheduling efforts
- Collaborate with the project team to produce accurate schedule updates
- Coordinate with and include subcontractor schedules
- Create variance reports, graphics, and narratives to address potential issues or conflicts
- Analyze acceleration options (multiple shifts, Weekday OT, Weekend OT) to recommend cost-effective options and assess risks
- Train other team members in planning & scheduling best practices
- 3+ years of experience as a Scheduler, preferably within DPR’s Core Market projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent field experience
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
- Effective problem-solving skills
- A flexible, detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities & work styles, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines
- Software skills necessary include Acumen Fuse and ACC Build
