RMA - Hardware Design Engineer

We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join a team focused on developing Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for Electric Vehicles. This is a high-impact role responsible for the design, development, validation, optimization, and support of mission-critical hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support for deployed hardware systems to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Identify design improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to increase efficiency, scalability, and manufacturability.
  • Lead hardware failure investigations and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure successful product integration and delivery.
  • Support product validation, debugging, and performance optimization activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD.
  • Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with networking and communication protocols, including Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, and GMSL.
  • Proven experience in high-speed design validation and circuit debugging.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
