Rivian is seeking an embedded Functional Safety Engineer to ensure safe infotainment and connected vehicle features across the full vehicle development lifecycle. You will analyze hazards, define safety goals and develop robust safety requirements while coordinating with HMI, Diagnostics and Platform teams.
You will perform HARA, DFMEA/FTA/FMEDA, and design safety mechanisms such as redundancy and health monitoring, with hands-on validation in Lab Car and HiL environments.
