We have a fantastic opportunity for an Electronics Innovation Engineer with a cutting-edge technology company based in Palo Alto, CA. This role involves working on innovative electronic projects, focusing on power conversion and advanced systems for various applications.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a specialization in power electronics or power conversion.
Qualified candidates from North America may be eligible for relocation assistance, and we are open to providing visa support for candidates with H1B, TN, and Green Card status.
There will be some travel involved, including international trips to Europe and Asia, accounting for approximately 20-25% of your time.
This position is not about routine engineering tasks but rather about pushing the boundaries of high-power engineering, focusing on development, prototyping, and solving complex challenges in power conversion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and assess high-power electronic systems
- Contribute to R&D projects, prototype development, and system architecture
- Conduct performance optimization, thermal and EMI analysis, and system validation
- Lead lab testing, debugging, and evaluation
- Identify and resolve technical issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Work with global teams on innovative power system designs
- Contribute to next-gen high-density power platforms
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with high-power electronic systems
- Strong background in lab validation and optimization
- Ability to work on advanced development projects
- Interest in customer-focused problem-solving
- Bilingual skills are a bonus
- Base salary: $180K–$200K
- 20% bonus opportunity
- Travel: 20-25%, including international trips
