About the Opportunity:- We're seeking an Engineering Technician to assemble, integrate, and test high-power microwave and linear accelerator hardware. In this hands-on role, you'll perform precision mechanical assembly, support high-voltage testing, operate laboratory test equipment, and troubleshoot hardware issues while maintaining rigorous safety and documentation standards.

What You'll Do:- Assemble, align, integrate, and install RF structures, wave guides, pulsed power systems, and accelerator components.
- Support high-voltage and pulsed power testing while following established electrical, radiation, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Set up and operate test stands, data acquisition systems, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters.
- Document assembly procedures, test results, and as-built configurations accurately.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Associate Degree
- 2+ years of experience with mechanical assembly, electronics, or laboratory test equipment.
- 2+ years of experience working with hands-on hardware in a lab or industrial environment
- Technical training in Engineering Technology or Electronics or Physics
- Experience with RF, microwave, accelerator, or high-voltage systems
- Experience in an R&D, accelerator, aerospace, or defense laboratory environment
- Experience working collaboratively with engineers and scientists
- Experience with LabVIEW for test stand operation, data acquisition, or basic automation and control
- Ability to read and interpret PCB schematics and circuit diagrams
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic circuit issues at the board or system level
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, and written procedures
- Comfortable working with hands-on hardware in a lab or industrial environment
- Be able to qualify for needed safety authorizations, including radiation and high-voltage work, and comply with all applicable training and safety procedures.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
