Location:
Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 months+
Candidates should be located near Palo Alto, CA and able to work onsite in a hybrid work model.
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will support executive leadership by driving topline growth and financial strategy. This role focuses on forecasting and modeling revenue, annual recurring revenue, bookings, billings, and gross margin. The team provides business insights that guide decision making and improve long term financial performance through close collaboration with cross functional partners.
Key Responsibilities- Build, maintain, and improve financial planning models for revenue, annual recurring revenue, billings, and gross margin
- Prepare detailed analysis for annual planning, quarterly forecasts, and long range planning
- Perform monthly forecasting and business outlook analysis
- Create scenario models for pricing changes, new products, and go to market initiatives
- Partner with internal teams such as Order Management, Deal Desk, and Product Operations to support quarter end forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Seven or more years of experience in software as a service companies in financial analysis, strategic finance, or business operations
- At least 3 years of experience in topline forecasting within the software industry
- Experience working at large publicly traded business to business software companies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and strong presentation skills
- Strong ability to analyze and summarize large data sets
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Hands on experience with Adaptive Insights and Net Suite
