Radiation Therapist

Adecco is seeking a Radiation Therapist – Palo Alto, CA

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a skilled Radiation Therapist to deliver precise, compassionate care in a high-acuity oncology setting. This role requires expertise with True Beam systems and flexibility to float across multiple facilities (Pleasanton, Palo Alto, and South Bay).

Pay:
The anticipated wage for this position is between $68 and $94 per hour. Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

• Deliver radiation therapy and perform patient simulations according to prescribed treatment plans
• Explain procedures and reinforce patient education; respond to patient concerns and monitor reactions
• Ensure treatment accuracy and safety; document all treatments thoroughly
• Perform equipment checks, calibration, and quality assurance
• Assist with dosimetry procedures and tumor localization as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, coders, and supportive care staff for accurate billing and care delivery
• Mentor and support other Radiation Therapists and support staff

• BLS – Basic Life Support
• ARRT-RTT – Registered Technologist, Radiation Therapy
• CRT-T
• Proficiency in True Beam systems
• Knowledge of radiation therapy principles, imaging, simulation, and patient positioning
• Strong clinical reasoning, patient safety awareness, and quality control skills
• Ability to float across multiple facilities
