American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and active CA licensure for a day-shift contract position in an outpatient radiology/cardiology CT setting.

• CT Scan unit within a radiology/cardiology setting
• Day shifts, 5x8 hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Possible weekend shifts as needed

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active BLS certification
• ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification required
• Active CA Radiation license required (license required if applicable)
• Active CA Fluoroscopy license required (license required if applicable)
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
• 2 supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

• Performs routine and specialized CT procedures to produce diagnostic-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers
• Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, and communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• May assist with orienting other staff to the department
• Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and policies
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• Former employees or travelers must have been away from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved per contract
