What to Expect

As a Technical Sourcer on the Internship Recruiting Team, you will partner directly with full-life cycle internship recruiters to build immediate and proactive AI software pipelines. In this role, you will support our Tesla AI Engineering Teams to identify, attract, and assess exceptional internship candidates. We are looking for passionate, innovative thinkers who can leverage new approaches to bring the very best engineers to Tesla.

This position can be based on site at our office in Palo Alto, CA or Austin, TX.

• Develop robust software pipelines of qualified candidates for near‑term and future hiring needs, utilizing multiple tools and approaches to identify and source top talent.
• Proactively source and engage top student talent through internal ATS, Linked In Recruiter, Git Hub, Google Scholar, and AI/ML research communities, amongst others.
• Source and screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine fit.
• Develop strong working relationships with recruiters, business leaders, and hiring managers.
• Maintain an expert level understanding of all recruiting processes in an environment that frequently changes.
• Focus on providing a positive candidate experience at every opportunity.
• Travel as needed for on‑campus university recruitment events.

• 2+ years recruiting/sourcing experience in an in‑house environment.
• Previous experience hiring for internship or early career engineering talent, with a focus in AI/ML or related field highly preferred.
• Ability to creatively approach hiring needs for difficult to fill positions.
• History of managing high‑volume pipelines without compromising quality.
• Strong ability to track and manage data and workflow.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

$84,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
