Overview

Manage Server systems and perform basic Linux (Ubuntu) administration tasks.

• Manage server systems and perform basic Linux (Ubuntu) administration tasks.
• Perform racking/mounting of servers and network devices; run structured cabling (network/fiber). Decommission of servers.
• Deep hardware knowledge of Dell, HPE, and Lenovo servers; experienced in assembling/disassembling components.
• Strong knowledge on server hardware breakfix operations and troubleshooting.
• Execute firmware and service pack updates; troubleshoot related issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot ILO, iDRAC, and BMC interfaces for out-of-band management.
• Perform CPU upgrades and manual firmware updates as needed.
• Configure and troubleshoot basic networking components including VLANs and trunk ports.
• Configure and troubleshoot DNS/DHCP services and resolve related issues within Infoblox.
• Troubleshoot PXE boot issues and manage virtual media imaging processes.
• Hands-on experience in managing data center environments with a focus on uptime and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve technical challenges.

Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 a year
