Hybrid 3 days per week in Palo Alto, CA
Our client seeks a hands-on Network Dev Ops Consultant to execute network automation across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI. The consultant will join the Network Infrastructure Services team to build, deploy, and maintain standardized network modules that enable secure and agile operations.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $59.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules to provision multi-cloud network resources including Transit Gateways, VNET Peering, Cloud Routers, and Load Balancers.
- Build and troubleshoot Python scripts to automate network operations such as IPAM updates, DNS record management, and firewall policy deployments.
- Standardize cross-cloud connectivity between AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OCI using native cloud tools and VPN or Direct Connect configurations.
- Manage and fix CI/CD deployment pipelines with Git Hub Actions to support clean code merges and successful infrastructure deployments.
- Respond to internal infrastructure requests for VPC or VNET modifications and enforce Network-as-Code standards.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years in Network Dev Ops or cloud networking.
- Hands-on AWS networking with VPC, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, and Route 53.
- Hands-on Azure networking with VNET, NSG, and Virtual WAN.
- Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and OCI networking constructs including VCN, DRG, and Shared VPC.
- Intermediate to advanced Terraform skills including state management and multi-provider blocks.
- Strong Python scripting for API interactions using libraries such as boto3 and requests.
- Daily proficiency with Git and Git Hub including pull requests, branching, and resolving merge conflicts.
- Solid understanding of BGP, routing tables, and L4 to L7 firewalling.
