Our client, a leading organization in the technology and consulting industry, is seeking a Senior JSM Specialist to join their team, where you will be part of the IT Operations support team.

Senior JSM Specialist

Remote

$100-110/hour, based on experience

• Lead hands-on migrations across Jira JSM and Ivanti environments, ensuring seamless data transfer and platform stability.

• Own the technical build of target Jira Service Management environments, including configurations, workflows, and permissions.

• Manage full data lifecycle processes such as extraction, normalization, transformation, import, and verification.

• Utilize APIs, CSV/JSON transforms, and marketplace apps to automate repetitive migration tasks.

• Collaborate closely with internal Jira administrators and engineering teams, providing expert guidance and integration support.

• 7–10 years of experience in ITSM consulting, engineering, or platform management.

• Deep hands‑on expertise in Jira Service Management administration and migration projects.

• Extensive knowledge of Jira platform behaviors, workflows, request types, SLAs, automations, and permissions.

• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, JavaScript, or Groovy for data manipulation.

• Experience with migration tools like JCMA, Xporter, and other relevant platforms.
