Clinical Systems Analyst - Blood Center Services - BECS

Stanford Blood Center (SBC) in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a specialized Clinical Systems Analyst to join our Blood Operations team. In this role, you will support blood collections, manufacturing, testing, and distribution by delivering technical solutions through BECS, LIS, and other core blood center applications. Key responsibilities include optimizing systems configuration, writing test cases, executing validations, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of all SBC blood systems.

• System Oversight:
  Administer and support blood operations applications
• Compliance & Validation:
  Manage system updates, configurations, validation, and implementation
• Workflow Integration:
  Collaborate with lab operations to optimize system interfaces and blood manufacturing/testing workflows
• Technical Support:
  Implement and troubleshoot system functions for zero downtime operations

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years of systems analyst work experience in blood operations, BECS administration, and support.
• Domain Expertise:
  Minimum 3 years of experience with Blood Establishment Computer Systems (BECS), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), or Data Innovations (DI) Instrument Manager.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
