- Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions, including experience with packet capture tools like Wireshark.
- Experience in network monitoring tools (e.g., Solar Winds, PRTG, Nagios) and network performance optimization.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and the ability to implement security measures, including ACLs, NAC, and zero‑trust segmentation principles.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and vendors.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of the organization's network infrastructure, maintaining uptime SLAs aligned to business requirements.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems, including firewall rule management and intrusion detection integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network‑related issues on time, with clear incident documentation and root‑cause analysis.
- Optimize network performance for efficient data transfer and user experience, proactively monitoring for bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
