The Opportunity
As a Silicon Valley - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects, performing basic tasks, and conducting research, all while observing professional work environments. Responsibilities- Supporting audit teams by participating in the execution of digital assurance tasks
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand auditing methodologies and practices
- Assisting in the application of compliance auditing techniques to evaluate adherence to regulatory guidelines
- Engaging in the process of data validation to confirm the accuracy and reliability of financial information
- Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms to enhance audit processes
- Contributing to cloud engineering projects by applying systematic approaches to cloud computing challenges
- Gathering and analyzing information to identify patterns and insights that support audit objectives
- Collaborating with team members to apply internal controls and governance frameworks effectively
- Actively listening and accepting feedback to improve personal and professional development
- Demonstrating enthusiasm and a learning mindset in all assigned tasks and projects
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study:
Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology - At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Gaining exposure to auditing methodologies and compliance standards
- Participating in cloud engineering projects to enhance business solutions
- Developing skills in data quality assurance and testing methodologies
- Supporting teams with active listening and effective communication
- Observing and learning from experienced auditors in financial reporting
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
