Description- Advise clients on intellectual property and technology transaction matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology‑related agreements, including licensing and development agreements.
- Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property rights and protection strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage complex transactions.
- Support clients in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures with respect to IP and technology assets.
- Conduct due diligence on intellectual property portfolios and technology assets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in IP and technology transactions.
- Stay updated on legal developments in intellectual property and technology law.
A successful candidate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property and technology law.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Competitive salary ranging from $310000 to $390000 annually, based on JD year and other relevant factors.
- Up to 29 days of paid time off after one full calendar year of full‑time employment.
