We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, privately held real estate company with over 50 years in the industry. Their Palo Alto corporate headquarters is home to an in-house legal department supporting a diverse family of real estate companies across development, investment, and services.
They are looking for a Corporate / Real Estate Paralegal to join a tight-knit legal team supporting several attorneys and a Senior Corporate Paralegal. If you are looking for a position where your work matters, your growth is supported, and stability is genuinely valued — this is it.
What You'll Do- Draft and review corporate governance documents, including board resolutions and compliance filings
- Manage entity formations, dissolutions, and registrations across multiple jurisdictions; maintain minute books and organizational records
- Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures; prepare transaction summaries and coordinate closing documents
- Prepare and review real estate transaction documents, closing packages, and property management agreements as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely execution and filing of all corporate compliance and governance documents
- Maintain and update legal information systems, entity management platforms, and due diligence databases
- Coordinate with outside counsel, title companies, executives, and internal stakeholders on corporate and real estate matters
- Provide high-quality, responsive support to attorneys with varying working styles
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
- 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience, ideally in real estate or corporate law
- Notary Commission Certificate
- Strong MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel); experience with document management systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable operating within a formal, hierarchical corporate environment with high visibility to senior executives
Preferred:
- Paralegal Certification
- Real estate transaction experience
- Familiarity with MS Visio and entity management platforms
- Competitive base range of $125k to $145k
