Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance SOC Operator Patrol / Foot Patrol!
Required Experience- At least one year of SOC experience

As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will spot threats before they erupt in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

Location:
Palo Alto, CA - Schedule:
Full‑time, 40 hours per week – Saturday/Sunday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (SOC Operator);
Monday‑Wednesday, 6:30 am – 3:00 pm (Foot Patrol) - Competitive hourly wage of $25/hr (SOC) & $23/hr (Foot Patrol) (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
- Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Hold a High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of SOC experience
- Experience overseeing multiple sites across multiple states
- Experience using a variety of systems
- Experience creating, issuing, collecting, and deactivating badges
- Provide your most up‑to‑date SOC resume
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report writing skills
- Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus
- Possess a state license if required
Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
