Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team addressing complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and AI regulatory issues for global clients.

• Represent clients in investigations by the FTC and state Attorneys General.
• Advise on data collection, usage, and compliance with global privacy laws.
• Develop responses to security breaches and enhance privacy policies.
• Implement global compliance programs.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with technology industries and government regulation preferred.
• Familiarity with FTC policy and enforcement is desirable.

Superior academic credentials required.

CIPP certification is a plus.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of computer programming, network technologies, and web technologies is beneficial.
