APS Mobile engineering team focuses on product suites that empower mobile publishers to quickly build and grow thriving businesses through maximizing revenue, improving user experience, and gaining deeper insights into their audience.

We’re looking for an engineer who gets excited by the idea of creating new products, features, and services from scratch while managing ambiguity and the pace of our organization whose ship cycles are measured in weeks, not years. If this is you, come make the internet better with us.

Key job responsibilities
  • Think big, bringing innovative ideas and optimizations to improve the publisher experience.
  • You take a long‑term view of architecture, proactively fixing deficiencies and/or proposing larger projects.
  • Maintain and improve existing iOS SDK framework features in Objective‑C and Swift.
  • You understand the business impact of your systems and show good judgment when making technical trade‑offs.
  • Your code submissions and approach to work are exemplary. You write software that is easy for others to contribute to.
  • You drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards.
  • You will work closely with our product, backend, and customer‑facing teams to build and maintain our SDK for the iOS platform.
Qualifications
  • Passion for innovation and delivery of high quality products.
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming, multi‑threading, and design patterns.
  • Deep understanding of mobile frameworks (especially iOS).
  • Ability to keep SDKs up‑to‑date on the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.
  • 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
